NEURASTHENIA were born in 2004 from ANIMALATOR, Thrash Metal band active since 1996.

In 2005 they released a first demo, "FULL FORCE OF THRASHERS!!", with five songs from last  Animalator's CD. Immediately after the new line-up released their first single, "MAJESTIC MARCH" and starts performing live.

In 2006 they released a promo, "RETURN UNDER NEURASTHENIA", with five unreleased tracks and start cooperating with the American THRASH ZONE, their first fansite is created and a dedicated page on www.hardnheavycommonwealth.com.

In 2007 their debut album is released: "POSSESSED", under Uk.Division Records, Alkemist Fanatix as promoter and Andromeda Distribuzioni as distributor.
Neurasthenia attends the MOSTRA DEI MOSTRI FESTIVAL in Cellino Attanasio with Infernal Poetry and EXTREMA, the ROUTE TO HELL METAL FEST in Caserta with STRATOVARIUS, AMON AMARTH & BEHEMOTH.
Their first show in Germany is at the Release Party "Birth of a Bomb" of Hetchery, and their first OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO for the song "MAJESTIC MARCH" is produced by XAVY VIDEO.
NEURASTHENIA perform at BRC FESTIVAL, with CRYING STEEL. Later in the same year Neurasthenia support band such as MAYHEM, VISION DIVINE and VENGEANCE.

In 2008 the band inks a deal with Machada booking and promotion agency, and works alongside with BOLOGNA ROCK CITY & HELLFIRE BOOLING.
They attends as headliner the DAYS IN ROCK FESTIVAL, the BADIA ROCKS FESTIVAL with BRAINSTORM, NECRODEATH, RAISING FEAR, HACKNEYED, the THRASH TILL DEATH FESTIVAL, and the TOTAL METAL FESTIVAL with DEICIDE, HATESPHERE, SLOWMOTION APOCALYPSE, SCHIZO.
Neurasthenia embark for their first Italian tour with HATESPHERE and Methedras, and support  MUNICIPAL WASTE, VISION DIVINE, FORBIDDEN. In SOUTH CHEYENNE FEST in Taranto Neurasthenia supported the Thrash Metal legends EXODUS.

Their second OFFICIAL VIDEO for the song "THE LAST ORDER OF GOD" is directed by Mirco Sgarzi.

In 2009 Neurasthenia ink a deal with BOLOGNA ROCK CITY for booking and management, and continue working with HELLFIRE BOOKING.
The second album, "YOUR OMEN" is released through MY GRAVEYARD PRODUCTIONS, who re-releases "POSSESSED", too. Both the releases are distributed worldwide by MASTERPIECE.
Their third OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO for the song "GO FUCK THEMSELVES" is directed by XAVY VIDEO again.

Neurasthenia embark for their first EUROPEAN TOUR with FUELED BY FIRE & BONDED BY BLOOD, promoted by INSANO BOOKING Brazilian agency. The tour ends in Italy, where the band supports in the last date the American legends ANTHRAX.

In 2010 Neurasthenia are official supporting act of FLOTSAM & JETSAM, in their European tour, then for EXCITER in their European tour, and support OBITUARY in Italy.
